Born and raised in Kirkop since 1984.
His interest in arts was evident from a young age, observing any
subject presented in an artistic form was overwhelming. Thanks
to some close relatives and well dedicated tutors, he started
developing and evolving the affection for art.
Living in a world of restrictions and rules where creativity and artistic beauty almost did not exist; he studied computer electronics. After years of absence, the devotion for art was still present.
By observing great impressionist and realism artists like Monet and Voka, he is still developing his own technique and unique style. He continuously experiments using the
magic of intense acrylic paint, mixing it with different mediums, pouring it in different densities and applying it with various palette knives, brushes and other simple tools; results in a deep love and passion for his work.
Focusing his energy into the evolution of his art and talent, Clint focuses on Maltese landscapes, portraits and human figures.
It is a war between you and the canvas… you might lose a couple of battles, but with a twosome of gesso brushes you can start over. Never discard a canvas because you will lose the war against it.”
“Starting is the most difficult part… Normally I have an exact idea on what the painting will be about but I don’t usually have an idea on how the finished painting will look like. The feeling of insecurity and anxiety while painting is overwhelming.”
